CrossFit Ridgeback (CFR) is hosting the Coffland Hero Challenge on Saturday, January 29th at 0930am to raise funds for Catch A Lift's (CAL) mission and the veterans it supports. Signing up is easy, and participants who donate at least $40 receive a CAL T-shirt or tank. Registration without a shirt is a donation of only $25, and donations of any amount are welcomed and encouraged for non-participants interested in supporting a great cause!! You can support our fundraising efforts by joining the CrossFit Ridgeback Team and registering for the Coffland Hero Challenge or just by donating.
WOD: The Coffland Hero WOD is a 6 minute cumulative hang hold from a rig or pull up bar. Each time the athlete drops, they will run 800 meters and complete 30 push ups. Once the run and pushups are complete, resume hanging from the bar. Repeat until cumulative hang hold reaches 6 minutes. Score is the total time, including all runs and push-ups! ** Adaptive, modified, scaled and partner version of the workout are available.
