Coffland Hero Challenge

Omni Training Facility

Omni Training Facility is excited to announce that we will be participating in a fundraising event to support The Catch A Lift Fund. Catch A Lift is a nonprofit that enables combat injured veterans to recover, rehabilitate, and regain purpose through 4 core pillars: Nutrition, Fitness, Emotional Wellness & Community. The organization was founded in 2010 in memory of Cpl. Christopher Coffland US ARMY KIA 11.13.2009 Afghanistan.

On May 15th at 10 am, we will be doing the Coffland Hero Challenge WOD.  If you are unable to attend in person there are virtual options as well. 

To participate in our fundraising efforts, there is a registration fee of either $40 (includes a CAL shirt) or $25 without a shirt. If you are interested in participating, please click the link below to register. If you would like to donate but are unable to participate you can also just make a donation.

The workout is the following:

"The Coff"


Rx

1. Hang from the pull up bar for 6 minutes

2. Every time you drop, perform:

800M Run & 30 Push Ups


Scaled 1: 

1. Hang from the pull up bar for 6 minutes

2. Every time you drop, perform option A or B

A: 800M Run or 800M Row and 30 Push Ups

B: 2 Rounds of: 75 jumping jacks, 35 mountain climbers, 15 pushups , 7 burpees 


Scaled 2: 

1. Hang from the pull up bar for 6 minutes

2. Every time you drop, perform option A or B

A. 600M Run or 600M Row and 15 Push Ups

B: 2 Rounds of: 75 jumping jacks, 35 mountain climbers, 15 pushups , 7 burpees 

 

New to CrossFit or Working Out: 

1. Hang from the pull up bar for 4 minutes OR do a plank for 4 minutes

2. Every time you drop, perform option A or B

A. 200M Run and 15 Push Ups

B. 1 Round of: 75 jumping jacks, 35 mountain climbers, 15 pushups , 7 burpees 


Can't make it to the gym and don't have a bar:

1. Do a plank for 6 minutes

2. Every time you drop, perform option A or B

A. 800M Run and 30 Push Ups

B. 2 Rounds of: 75 jumping jacks, 35 mountain climbers, 15 pushups , 7 burpees
